A night at the summit of the Pic du Midi

Arrival at the summit
Board the cable car before 4 pm to reach the Pic du Midi and enjoy the panoramic terraces at your leisure. When the last visitors of the day have left, meet your astronomy guide for a welcome drink and begin your tour of the site, before a session at the Planetarium.

Sunset & dinner
From the terraces, admire the sunset over the Pyrenees before heading to the LE 2877 restaurant for your dinner.

The night & the stars
Accompanied by your guide, set off to explore the starry sky and its secrets, then head to the former scientists’ quarters to spend the night at the summit. The toilet facilities are communal on each level and shared by a limited number of rooms.

Waking up at the summit
In the morning, enjoy the sunrise, breakfast and a tour of the scientific quarters with your guide before heading back down to La Mongie by late morning.


All these activities are included in the price of your ‘Night at the Summit’ package.
Please note: the order of the various activities may vary depending on the season, particularly depending on the time of sunset.

Important information
The trip involves a great deal of walking and can be physically demanding. The site is strongly not recommended for pregnant women and people with heart conditions. None of the rooms are suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
